National Teachers' Day
In observance of Teacher’s Day, I, along with a team from the KSAMC, visited the Lister Mair/Gilby High School for the Deaf, where we recognized the dedicated service of the institution’s 28 educators who support a student population of 63.
The visit highlighted the critical role these educators play in empowering students through specialized instruction, communication support, and compassionate care, while reinforcing the importance of inclusive education and equal access to learning opportunities for all citizens.
The KSAMC also made a financial contribution towards staff welfare. Special recognition must be given to these highly trained educators who work tirelessly with students who are hearing impaired, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
