The KSAMC pays tribute to Valerie Neita-Robertson, KC

The KSAMC pays tribute to Valerie Neita-Robertson, KC, a distinguished Attorney, fearless advocate, and dedicated public servant.

While we mourn her passing, we also acknowledge her contributions to Kingston and the wider Jamaica. Valerie served as a Councillor in the KSAMC for the Papine Division, always standing up for fairness and justice. In 2020, she continued her journey in public service as a candidate for the Western Portland constituency for the People’s National Party in the general election.

Throughout her career, she remained committed to uplifting the Jamaican people. Beyond her legal work, she had strong ties to Wolmer’s Boys’ School. She played a key role in shaping the lives of young men. Her dedication to education and mentorship left a lasting impact.

On behalf of the KSAMC and the people of Kingston & St. Andrew, I extend my deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues. We have lost a true champion for justice, but her legacy will live on.

~ Mayor Andrew A. Swaby, JP
